First Class

Micah walked in an sat at his desk.

Tom entered the classroom with his robes billowing in an imaginary wind. "Hello, I am the new Asssssisssssstant Charmssssssssss Teacher" said Tom, drawing out the s's like a snake.

"Assisstent??" Pendo said with a confused look on his face. "I don't need an assisstent, but alright..." Pendo said running his hand through his silky black hair. "I'm waiting for the rest of the class now."

"proffesor what are we going to learn today."

"You'll see when the others get here." Pendo said smiling a little.

Rayven walked silently into the classroom. Her long robes gently brushed the floor as she walked with a straight back toward the table where she would be sitting. She was hoping that she wouldn't have to share a table with any...mudbloods...

Rayven couldn't but wrinkle her nose as the thought entered her head. What a dreary day it would be if she had to smell the stench of a mudblood all day. She glanced around and saw another boy already there. She cursed silently, hating the fact that someone had made it to the class before she did. She looked over and smiled at the teacher.
"Good morning, Professor." she said in her soft and polite tone. She didn't know if she really liked the professor or not, but always better to keep the people you don't know closer than even your enemies.

"Well well. Now aren't you a beautiful girl" hissed Tom the Humanoid Snake.

"Good Morning." Pendo said smiling. "Lets give the other a few more minutes to ge there before we start class." Pendo said sitting back.

Rayven turned slightly to look at the man who had called her beautiful. She raked her cold glance over his form and raised her eyebrow at him.
"Thank you." She said coldlly, but politely. She then turned her glance to the Professor. "I don't mind waiting."

Rayven mentally rolled her eyes as she said the small lie. She did, of course, mind waiting. Those students were slackers that weren't here when they were supposed to be. She removed her books and writing utensils from her bag and mentally prepared herself for the lesson.

Tom chuckled. "I like thisssssssss one. You teach the HufflePuff I got the beautiful SSSSSSSSSSSSSlytherin to teach" said Tom, a giddy look in his eyes as he walked over to Rayven, his forked tongue reaching around his head lunged back like a snake.

Micah looked at the assistant and giggled because he knew she was way out of his leauge.

"Or I teach them both, and you shut your trap." Pendo said laughing. "We'll begin without them..." Pendo said pulling a lever as a stage rose up in between him and the students. "Now, each of you stand up and tell us a little about your selves." Pendo said pointed to Rayven "You first." Pendo said.

Rayven stood up reluctantly. She took an almost inperceptable breath and blinked twice before starting her introduction.

"Good morning. My name is Rayven Htaed. I am a Seventh Year of course. I like studying and not much else." She said all of this with a straight face that almost bordered on dead. "I don't like too many things to list."

When Rayven was finished she sat back down and returned to flipping through her book, randomly writing something down on a small piece of parchment that she used as a bookmark.

"well i guess its my turn." Micah said getting up and walking up on the stage smiling. "im micah this is my first year and i hope its a good one. im also in hufflepuff to and i like to make freinds and play sports. I also work at stuffies." Micah smiles and sits back in his seat.

"My turn. My name issssssss Tom Marvolo Riddle III. I was in SSSSSSSSSSSSSlytherin. I love sssssssssnakesssssssssss & reptilesssssssssssss. I can ssssssssssspeak Parssssssssssseltongue & I get my sssssssssssnake-like lookssssssss from my father" said Tom.

Micah nods and gets on the stage with his wand ready.

Rayven smiled as she walked onto the stage. She smiled at the little first year. This was going to be fun. Rayven loved dueling and she loved to do it anytime and anyplace. She got into her duel stance and waited for his next move.

"Come, little Firstyear." she said softly. "Let's have some fun, yeah?"

Micah smiled knowing she underestimated him greatly. Micah waved his wand around. "Stupefy." Micah sid very sternly sending a red bolt of magic at his opponet/classmate.

Rayven whipped her wand in the direction of her opponent.
"Protego!" she said and smiled as the spell was deflected on her her conjured sheild, sending the bolt of magic back at him. She thought about sending another spell at him right away, but decided to let the duel go on for a bit.

"Come, little firsty. You can do better than that!"

Pendo looked back to Micah to see what he would do about the spell coming back at him.
